A leader who can’t be trusted will lead with a limp.

I’m sure none of us are as smart as Albert Einstein, but it doesn’t take a genius to agree with his statement: “Anyone who doesn't take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either.” In fact, he might have gotten that from the Bible (Luke 16 and 19 or Matthew 25). But TRUTH and TRUST go hand-in-hand.

A leader who can’t be trusted will lead with a limp. As leaders we learn all kinds of information – from advance knowledge of things that are going to happen to personal details in people lives. Proverbs 11:13 warns that “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.
