I was ten years old when a guest speaker was invited to our church for a five-day special event. I really enjoyed his fun, interactive style of teaching. He wove together object lessons, puppetry and storytelling in a way that truly inspired me. At the end of the event during the closing prayer, I decided I wanted to do what he did when I grew up. Later, I shared this with my mom, hoping she would say something like, “That’s wonderful! You’d be great at that someday!” Instead, my mom surprised me by saying, “That’s wonderful! You start on Wednesday!”
