Topic: Uncovering Sin

Don't cover or hide your sin. Confess your sins to God who can clean you.

Needed: can of air freshner

Ps. 32:5

Lesson: Don't cover or hide your sin. Confess your sins to God who can clean you.

Scripture: " I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, 'I will confess them to the Lord.' And you forgave me. All my guilt is gone" (Ps. 32:5)

Teacher: How many of you have ever used air freshener, or seen mom or dad use it at home?
(Teacher walks around the room spraying one of the air freshners into the air.)
That actually smells nice, and makes the room smell nice, doesn't it?

Boys and girls, I'd like to tell you a story.
There were some children in a school class that entered their classroom one day, and saw their teacher walking around with a clothespin on her nose and spraying the classroom with a can of air freshner, like this.
(Show the can and spray a little.)
