Children need to have a basic understanding of what communion is, and the purpose of taking communion. They will then be more prepared when this important event takes place in their own lives. This will make it more meaningful to them in their spiritual journey with Christ.

Taking communion is an important part of the spiritual training of young children. However, it is important that they have an understanding of what we teach regarding this sacraments and understand the purpose of communion.

Lesson 6 in the Power Theme Series. Like Abraham, who was obedient to God in everything, God will give us the power to obey Him in the small things of life as well as those large areas.

Lesson 7 of the Power Theme Series. God's Word is our road map that will instruct us how to get to heaven. As we follow this road map, we will one day see King Jesus in heaven. We may find the directions on a map hard to follow sometimes, yet we know they are correct and will get us to our destination. God's Word will not fail us either.

Lesson 8 of the Power Theme Series. Living a powerful life for King Jesus will take some discipline on our part. We need to please King Jesus by following His guidelines. He gave Moses some specific guidelines, the ten commandments that He felt were important for the people. We too can follow these guidelines today and learn more about pleasing Him.

Lesson 9 of the Power Theme Series. We can wear the Armor of God every day that we get up. We can put this armor on the first thing in the morning so that we are prepared against the enemy of our soul.

I Have No Need - What a privilege having the Almighty God as our Shepherd who watches over us and protects us. We can confidently bring our needs to our Shepherd.

He Strengthens and Guides Me - God gives us strength and shows us the right way to live. We must choose to listen and obey and then we will experience a life of God's blessing.

I Have No Need To Fear - We can always stop the things that make us afraid but we can stop fear from imprisoning us. How? Because the Lord is our Shepherd and His Promises and Presence will protect us and set us free

I Have Victory Over My Enemies - The devil, people and circumstances are our enemies but with our Shepherd we can have victory over them. Choosing victory, getting close to God and being obedient to His Word are the keys for our victory

I Am Secure In God's Love - There are times where we feel unlovely, maybe have problems, don't feel good enough, done something wrong. These are times where we must be secure in God's love knowing that nothing will ever change His love for us.
