Kidology has released a Brand New preschool curriculum!

This is something COMPLETELY NEW that has never been done before, and we are very excited about it.

It is a Bible Survey curriculum for non-readers that actually uses the Bible in a really cool way. It involves some very fun art, a revolutionary concept that engages young non-readers with Bibles and engages the home as well. It has been used and proven in several churches but rewrote it coordinating with the original author and it is now available on Kidology.

Curious? No one has ever done anything like this for non-readers and teaching the Bible. It's very fascinating!

This Discussion Thread is for questions about the curriculum. You can read complete details at www.kidology.org/sttb but this thread here is where you can ask questions of myself or the creator, Barbara Price.

If you are already a user of Stickers Through the Bible and would like to provide feedback, please use this thread. Thank you!

The target age is your older 'non-readers' - 4 year olds to Kindergarten. it will give them a love for the word of God and and an overview understanding of the Story of the Bible. They will actually use the Bible and gain an overview of the Bible in a creative hands-on method, with real Bibles they will end up keeping for the rest of their lives.

Please visit www.kidology.org/sttb to read about it, and then at the bottom of that page are links the store products where you will see the two options of buying it by quarter or the complete year.

Looks interesting. Is there a Scope and Sequence available to preview?

Great question - here is an overview of the lessons:
STTB00_02Scope_Sequence.pdf
There is also a sample lesson you can download on the info page at: www.kidology.org/sttb

I hope this is helpful.

This looks pretty cool...and since I can't do AWANA, I think this will be a great alternative for my midweek program...it can stand alone, but better as a whole, so it will hopefully motivate parents to bring their kids so they can finish the whole thing.

It'd be better for my SS hour, but my teachers are resistant to change...so, for now, midweek will have to do. Maybe, after the trial....

Lessons look to be good length and good variety, hand work and activities--looking forward to trying it out!

Karl, Are the stickers available for school use as well. This looks great for our preschool children daily classes. However we are not on the same sequence as the materials. Is is possible to just purchase the stickers and use them with our existing daily materials?

In time we may sell the clip art. For now, just the curriculum is for sale. They are not 'peel and stick' stickers, they are PDFs and self made stickers. You are welcome to purchase the curriculum and use the art in your own way with your school material.

Wow, Karl. This is so cool. My friend and I were just talking about the diconnect between a picture BIble and a "real" BIble and the trouble kids have when the memory verse or day's story isn't in their picture BIble. What a perfect solution. Hoping to place an order tomorrow!!

Here is the thread for STTB Feedback. If you are using it, your feedback is welcome, and often we make changes as a result of the suggestions we get.

We've officially started! You can find our letter of introduction to the parents here:
Stickers Through the Bible Introduction Letter

The first week was a little chaotic as we explained the concept and put SEVEN stickers (for creation) in the Bibles, but I think we'll do 1-2 stickers from this point on and it'll be better. Looking forward to it!

Do you think it would be a good "for home" use resource for parents of preschoolers?

Absolutely! Perfect for home. While there are group games in the curriculum that may or may not work as a family game, the crafts, stories, timeline, stickerts, etc. would all be wonderful for a family's use.

Can you see the text through the stickers or can the stickers be moved around after placing them if needed?

No, you can't see the text as this is for non-readers - and removing them would depend on how you make the stickers, but in general no, as the goal is to create a keep-sake for the kids. Churches usually purchase a special Bible for this purpose (rather than put stickers in a child's bible from a parent that they may grow into actually reading.)

Hope this helps!
