Kidology's Mission is to Equip and Encourage
Those Who Minister to Children. Obviously, we do this through
this website and through the training materials we create and
seminars we host and participate in. But we also set aside
a portion of
our income from memberships, sales, and donations to fund our
foundation. The purpose of the Kidology Foundation is to equip
and encourage
those who minister to children by providing financial support
and/or helpful resources to small ministries and scholarships
for students
preparing for a career in children's ministry.
We accomplish this
purpose in a variety of ways.
FIRST, our Kidology Grant Contests.
Following the principle that often God gives to givers, we offer
support to those who freely contribute to the creative content of
this site. We know that those who may not have funds, but may have
time and ideas that they can share. So instead of inviting ministries
to request funds, we approach those who contribute to the site,
and see if there is a way we can help in return.

SECOND, our Scholarships. We have established our
first endowed children's ministry scholarship at Moody Bible Institute,
and have a vision to establish such scholarships at Bible colleges
across the country. Check back here soon for more information about
this scholarship. For more information see: The
Patti Bastian Memorial Children's Ministry Scholarship.

them for Jesus. (See the bottom of our Contest

Those interested in grants from the Kidology Foundation are encouraged
first of all to contribute their creative ideas to the site, as
most of our grant recipients began the process of receiving a grant
that way.
NOTE: We do not accept requests for grants.
The Kidology Foundation is not a highly funded foundation. Our
foundation is made up of sacrificial gifts from a portion of our
membership and product sales and from donations. We do not
have the resources to respond to requests for grants, or to do the
proper investigation that would be required before responding to
such requests. Instead, we give to organizations in one of
only two ways.
First of all, we approach those who submit to the site about
helping their ministries. (See the CONTEST above.) That way we
are giving to givers. We reward those who contribute to our
mission. Those who take the time to submit to the site are
giving something that costs them only time and energy. We
respond with resource help.
The second way is that we approach and/or support ministries that
we see demonstrating a key role in advancing the cause of children's
ministry. We welcome organizations putting us on their mail
list so we can learn of their ministry, but do not have the staff
and resources to respond to requests for money. But you are also welcome to write to the address
below. Grant requests via e-mail are not entertained and may
not be replied to.
Instead write to:
Kidology Foundation
1205 Karl Ct., Suite 108
Wauconda, IL 60084
Enclose as much informational material as possible.
Due to the high number of requests we sometimes receive, as the
highest trafficked children's ministry site, we do not promise a
reply to materials received, but do prayerfully consider them all.
Submitting creative content to the site is still the best way to
get your name higher on the list of grants considered.
