BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR GOD'S RESOLUTIONS!
A new year always brings new opportunities. Many of those opportunities we can plan ourselves as we resolve to be a better person, spouse, parent, volunteer or leader. But God also has some plans in store for you in 2008! And while most of our resolutions are aimed at creating a better life, God's aim is to transform us into better people.

He will use whatever it takes to form our character. It may not always be pleasant, but it will always be beneficial. So certainly plan to pray more, read the Bible more, and even lose some weight – but be sure to take the time to ask God what He has in store for you. If you are working with Him toward positive changes, you'll make His job easier and hit less bumps along the way.

As always, Kidology is here to help in any way we can!

MOVIE REVIEW: THE WATER HORSE: LEGEND OF THE DEEP
"The problem that I had with this film is that it was just a story," comments CP Team member Matt McDaniels is his review of The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep.

"I don't mean that it was fiction, I mean that it really had no "conflict and resolution." That's where this movie's problems lie: it's not made for kids, it doesn't contain the plot needed for adults, it's not funny enough to be a comedy, it's not deep enough to be a drama. It's just a good story about the legend of the Lock Ness monster."

MOVIE REVIEW: ENCHANTED
"The innocence of Giselle's character makes her stand out," notes CP Team member Brett Richmond is his review of Disney's Enchanted. "The image of Giselle amongst the chaos and darkness of New York City is reminiscent of the imagery of Christians standing out among the world."

With Kidology's unique movie reviews, you can use this film as a teaching tool, as we provide an overview, areas of concern, teachable themes with scripture, and discussion questions!
