I'm grateful for the wealth of information and encouragement you provide through so many avenues of outreach. I rarely go to the Kidology site without finding something helpful to take away as well as share with others.

I invite you to dream with me. What is your dream for your ministry in the coming year and beyond? What do you hope to accomplish? Are there any dreams which seem impossible, yet you hold them deep in your heart? Share here. Let's inspire and encourage each other!

I will get us started: I am dreaming and praying that the lost in my immediate church neighborhood will have multiple year-round positive contacts with me and others from my congregation so that we will be in community with them to encourage them, uplift them in their areas of need and be a witness of Jesus' love to them.

Anyone else want to share?

I would like to see the Church based ministry move to a new level with Christian kids who are switched on in their faith.

Our outreach stuff is pretty amazing as it stands (run by my immediate boss)

That's awesome Mingin. I look forward to reading how God accomplishes that for you!

I wonder if anyone else on Kidology has dreams they would like to share?

My dream is to have a stand by list of volunteers, to be able to add some much needed technology to the classrooms.

I am also, praying and dreaming for our church to truly become a healthy body that reaches in and reaches out in a way that really impacts the community for the kingdom.

This is a very hard one.  I would like to continue to find ways to go into the highways and byways and bring children in.  I would love to do more neighborhood outreaches.  I would love to develop a divorce recovery program for children.  I would love to develop a family outreach ministry.  The problem right now is that there is a bit of conflict at the church....and absolutely no money for anything else.

I will pray with you about this. These are all attainable dreams. Yet, I sense that perhaps there are obstacles which could be making them more difficult to achieve. Please keep us informed on how it is going!

Isn't it incredible how conflict can derail God-given dreams? Yet, God has a way of helping us work through it so that we can operate according to his purposes. I will for that your church finds ways to resolve differences and reconcile where there is hurt so that Kingdom priorities may once again be pursued with full vigor. I love how you are dreaming big. May all these and much more come to pass as God works in and through you and your church!

I have a dream to try to partner with the schools in our area; especially the school in our neighborhood.  I'd like to scrap our "golden calf" events such as our Halloween Harvest Party, and come up with some new creative ideas to reach out to our community.  Investing into the lives of the lost...that's my dream for 2009.

I would like to find more ways to connect with kids on their level.

on a long term dream... My church is going through a building program and in 5 years they want to have a new gym built. I want the old one for children's church. (only heated and air conditioned of course)

It sounds like this dream coincides with your new thread where you talk about dreaming big if money were no object. God has a way of fulfilling our dreams when they are expressions of his purposes, even the ones that seem impossible. So, dream big and watch God work. It might take time, but it can happen!
