Kidology To Go is coming to your town! This week at Children's Ministry Expo in Lexington, KY, we're announcing Kidology To Go. It's something we're pretty excited about!
What is it, you ask? Kidology to Go is a mobile training event that travels across the United States and Canada, bringing quality children's ministry training and resources to churches.
For a limited time, Marty Martin - one of the top children's pastors in America - is taking a two-year sabbatical from weekly church ministry to visit churches, provide training, and help encourage others.
Kidology to Go is incredibly affordable - and if you promote in it your area and hit reasonable attendance goals, it can be FREE to your church!
Imagine the fun of the Kidology to Go RV pulling into your church parking lot - a full day or afternoon of training - resources being mailed to your church from resource providers around the country - and your leaders and volunteers being equipped and encouraged during a once-in-a-ministry event! Because Jesus Loves Children, Karl D. Bastian - a.k.a. "The Kidologist"

Who is Influencing You?
| From the Kidology Forums: " You can learn much about people when you learn who is influencing
them. Maybe it is a pastor, an author, a celebrity, a friend, a family
member, and so on. Who is influencing you now? In the past? What
difference is it making in your life? The way you feel, think, behave,
etc." » Share your current influences

Recap: Yosemite Summit 2010
| Curious about Kidology's Yosemite Summit retreat? Take a look at this recap report from Karl Bastian about this event from May 2010, complete with photos and video!
Karl writes, "This year Yosemite Summit came for me in the midst of a very busy schedule. In fact, had it not been for Yosemite Summit, I would not have ever slowed down! Which is exactly why Yosemite Summit exists.
Yosemite Summit has taught me to slow down... and has taught me the power of stopping!
This year's Summit brought together 7 guys from around the country. 2 returned from last year, which is always encouraging..."

DiscipleTown #7 - How to Be Faithful Workers
| The next installment in the DiscipleTown Kid's Church curriculum series -- Unit 8: How to Pray -- will be released August 20!
In the meantime, make sure you've got a copy of Unit 7, How to Be Faithful Workers, written by Karl Bastian and DiscipleLand.
The topic of work may not immediately appeal to children (or adults for that matter), but God invented the whole idea! Beginning with the first chapters of the Bible and throughout Scripture, God presents work not as a chore but as a gift from Him. Work allows us to engage in God's plan for His wonderful creation.
In this unit, you will introduce children to the gift of work, and they will learn how to be faithful workers - as they use their attitudes, their abilities, and their actions. Teach children that when we accept the gift of work, have a good attitude, learn new abilities, and get into action, God can provide for our needs!
