No Budget? No Problem!

I’m a little nervous to write this theorem as I know it won’t be very popular, especially as it is being released at the end of the year when many leaders are submitting budgets and hoping for a little more than last year. In these challenging economic times, children’s ministry budgets often get cut… sometimes eliminated. I am often reading on social media laments of ministries with little to no money or requests for ideas for fundraisers.

No doubt – money is a big help in ministry. I don’t disagree.

What I’d like to do today, however, is take a different approach to this topic. While I AM sympathetic to leaders facing budget cuts and the challenges of ministering with less money, I’d like to pose a sincere question you are welcome to answer wherever you find this article linked. My question is simply:

“What do you need money FOR?”
