Kidology Theorem #35 - Encourage and challenge kids to the next level of their faith

 

Children typically only rise as far as you expect them to. Rarely does a student exceed the expectations of the adults in their life. I’ve learned: “Expect Little, Get Little; Expect Much, Get Much.” 

Many children have a low opinion of themselves. Our culture is constantly saying to kids, “You aren’t good enough, smart enough, athletic enough, attractive enough.” Basically kids hear, “You fall short.” When we choose to think more of them than they think of themselves, we have the power to help lift them to the next level on their Christian journey!
