Book Nine: The People of a New Covenant
Jesus is crucified on the cross for the sake of His people. He resurrects after three days as foretold in the Scriptures. At first, many people and even the disciples do not believe that Jesus has been raised from the dead, but as more and more people come to meet the resurrected Jesus, they believe. The disciples begin their efforts to preach the message of Jesus Christ, the awaited Messiah. The church is created and believers live together with one heart and mind. Many Gentiles also come to believe in Jesus as they hear the message of the gospel and see the changed lives of believers.
