Book Two: Moses, Leader of the Israelites
Many years after coming to the land of Egypt, the Israelites are enslaved by a new Pharaoh who does not remember the deeds of Joseph. One Israelite child, Moses, escapes the suffering of his people and is raised by the Princess of Egypt. Later, Moses is called by God to save the Israelites from slavery and to lead them into the Promised Land. The story of Exodus reveals a God who experiences human emotions, a people who are obstinate and foolish, and a leader named Moses who delivers the will of God to the people.
