THAT'S WHAT "THEY" SAY
So many times we hear complaints from people letting us know what "they" say, or claim we are doing what everyone knows "they" say is the best way to do this or that. "They" say this is the best thing, or "they" say this is the newest resource, or "they" say the next trend is going to be this or that. But who is "they" anyway?

The simple answer? "They" is whoever you allow to influence you. "They" is whoever you believe matters. "They" can change constantly and jerk both you and your ministry around until you are dizzy, wondering what in the world you are doing! I have a better idea. Listen to Him.

He might speak through them - just as He might be speaking through me now! But make sure you are listening to Him first. If you haven't sought God today, read His Word, or sat in quiet reflection, you have no business listening to anyone else. Shut "them" out until you have heard first from Him. Let Him speak to you through His Word, His Spirit, and then yes, even through others.

But worry less about what "they" say, and more about what He would say!
