HELP US HELP YOU HELP OTHERS HELP KIDS!
Fall is here! If you aren't careful, the busyness of ministry can overwhelm your life and suck the joy of ministry right out of you! Kidology is here to help you keep that balance in your life!

First of all, the latest Kidology Online Training Leadership Lab will guide you through a thoughtful evaluation and planning process. You'll also get 10 tips for "Slaying the E-mail Monster." Yes, YOU can be in charge of your computer, instead of IT running your life!

Secondly, it's not too late to plan on coming to our Kid U conference in October. We have extended the early registration rate to help you help yourself to this amazing event! This is not an annual event - if you miss this, you may never get another chance like it for up close and personal coaching from some of the nation's best children's ministry trainers.

And for all the women out there who (nicely) complained that Yosemite Summit was only for men, we are excited to offer a get-away retreat for WOMEN ONLY. It's called Unbridled, and yes, horses are included!

So as the fall gets into high gear, do something for yourself for a change. Invest in your personal sanity as well as your professional skills. Check out all that Kidology has to offer to help you help yourself as you help others help kids reach God!

And for those of you who love Kidology and would like to help us with some significant needs as we update our site, please check out our fall fundraiser, "This One's On Me", and consider giving up a Big Mac or Mocha Frappucino to help us help you even more in the future!

UNBRIDLED: AN UNCONFERENCE FOR WOMEN
UnbridledKarl Bastian writes: "When I first announced Yosemite Summit last year, I got many e-mails asking me to plan a similar event for women, even a few polite scoldings for making my event "men only."

Obviously, I can't host a women's retreat! So I went to one of the most remarkable children's ministry leaders in the country -- Kim Bobb (who happens not to be a man) -- and challenged her to create a similar event for women. Unbridled was born!"

This event takes place October 20-22 in Circleville, Ohio. Availability is limited, so act soon!

THIS ONE'S ON ME
This One's On MeKidology's "This One's On Me" fundraiser is a way for you to support one of your favorite children's ministry websites with small donations that otherwise may seem insignificant.

To make it fun, you can choose to "buy" the equivalent of many every day products as your donation. The catch? You'll get nothing in the mail, but will receive our heartfelt thanks and a tax-deductible receipt!

CRYING KIDS! HELP!
Crying"I was wondering what you all do with the kids that cry when parents drop them off in the nursery," asks Kidology Network Forums member jonimom4. "Our policy is to let them cry for 15-20 mins. If they can't be consoled during that time, then we page their parents."
