TRAINING: BY CLICK AND BY BRICK
Here at Kidology, it's exciting when we're given the opportunity to help train children's ministry workers, both online and offline.

That's why I'm happy to announce our latest Online Training Leadership Lab: "Partnering with Parents". You've read the bad news from George Barna. You've considered the blueprint from Larry Fowler. Everywhere you look you hear "partner with parents" – but how do you do it? Even though your summer is quite busy, this on-demand Lab is worth your time, and may just change everything you've ever thought about family ministry.

Shifting from online to the "real world", I wanted to encourage you to travel to the Windy City this fall for our Kidology University Chicago conference. Celebrating our 10th anniversary, we've expanded this popular training event to 4 days, October 1-4. And if you register by June 1, you can attend for an amazing price that really can't be beat. You won't want to miss Kid U!

MOVIE REVIEW: Prince Caspian
Prince Caspian"If The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was a nice civilized children's story, Prince Caspian is a contrasting savage story that is anything but nice and fluffy." So notes Kidology CP Team member Brett Richmond in his review of the film.

"The movie makers went to great lengths to keep the film PG so that families could bring their children, and at the same time, they kept enough suspense and intensity to tell a really good story."

As with all Kidology movie reviews, we provide children's ministry-oriented teaching tools such as an overview, areas of concern, teachable themes with scripture, and discussion questions.

MOVIE REVIEW: Speed Racer
Speed Racer"Speed Racer is a family-oriented film with some great action and racing sequences all pulled together through a very colorful, intense, and fun technology-savvy environment with hints of the old way of life still present."

That's what Kidology CP Team member Alan Phillips has to say about this Warner Bros. film based on the 1967 animated cartoon. Alan notes that there are strong, teachable themes in this movie, including "The Value of Family", "Doing the Right Thing", and the concept to "Never Give Up". Read this Kidology movie review to learn more, including areas of concern, supporting scripture, and discussion questions you can use with the kids in your children's ministry!
