LOOKING BEYOND THE PRETTY EXTERIOR
In our latest edition of the Kidology Report, we spend time talking with Andrew VanDerLinden, a children's pastor in Colorado who has been blessed with a rather extensive themed environment for his ministry. While it's easy to get caught up in the "oohs" and "ahhs" of such a thing, it's important for the rest of us to remember that a fun environment without depth of teaching is a waste of time and energy. Whatever your budget or situation allows, keep in mind that your role is to impact kids' lives with the Truth of the Gospel and equip them to live for God in today's world!

CHURCHES THAT CHARGE FOR CM
"I ran across this post a few days ago that discussed a well-known church in our part of the metro that is not just well known for being big... they have a reputation as the church that has a cover-charge for kids to get into the children's ministry." writes Network Forums member jamie496. "Do you charge kids to attend weekend children's ministries?"
