IS
THE GREAT PUMPKIN EVIL? During
this time of year, I always receive e-mails asking me what
I think about how the church should deal with Halloween. This
holiday is a perfect subject for discussing how Christians
should engage each other and ministry when there are equally
powerful but opposite convictions on what is right. I'd recommend
taking a look at "When
Good People Disagree" on Kidology, which brings up
a few points on how to handle disagreements. In the end, it's
important to remember that we each should have convictions,
people who disagree with you probably love God as much as
you do (really, they do!), as unique creatures we have unique
opinions, and that as a Body we'll be spending a lot of time
together during eternity!

of that event and take a look at some of the other resources
Kidology has made available regarding this movie.
BOO!

TEACHING
KIDS EVOLUTION: YES OR NO? "I
recently did a lesson that compared creation with the various
theories that are out there -- evolution included," writes
Kidology Network Forums member kids4Him. "I had a parent
object to teaching kids about this. Do you think this is a topic
that is too mature to teach to children?"
