EMPHASIS
ON PARENT PARTNERSHIPS With
fall approaching and everyone preparing for the new school
year, this time around I'm attempting to make partnering with
parents something I DO rather than something I TRY. I believe
this can be accomplished by doing what any other partnership
does - invite, agree on what it means, and then follow through.
In the past we just shot stuff at parents and hoped they used
it... and then acted surprised when they didn't do it. I encourage
you to please keep parents in mind as you plan your upcoming
kids' programs.

THE
OWNER'S MANUAL A
skit about a girl who can't control her new toy robot
because she refuses to read the owner's manual. That's what's
provided by Kidology contributors James & Karen Williams. The
point? Why it's important for us to read the Bible. First, get
yourself a robot... yeah, seriously!
KABOOM!
DISCOVERING WHO GOD IS These
curriculum units from River's Edge allow kids to understand
and comprehend the attributes of God. Through fun and simple
science experiments children learn how God's character traits
apply to their lives. A PowerPoint presentation is provided
to complement each lesson.

ORDER
OF THE ANCIENT - CHAPTER 18 Karl
Bastian's children's adventure continues... "The gun flew from
the guard's hands, discharging one blast as it did. The
