BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN
Several planes, trains and automobiles later, it is great to be back to work at Kidology and my home church! It was a real blessing to be given a six-week sabbatical. I really enjoyed the interaction with those I visited on the road or who followed via my blog at PastorKarl.com. As we head into the summer ministry months I hope you will not only find many ideas and helps here on Kidology.org, but I hope you will also take some time to submit some of your ideas to the site for others to enjoy. Happy Summer! Keep warm in the SUN and close to the SON!

MOMS IN MINISTRY
"I am a mom with a soon-to-be one year old," writes Network Forums member sjewelk11674. "When I accepted my call to ministry 8 years ago, one of the personal issues I struggled with was the fact that I would not be a stay at home mom." How do you balance mom and ministry?

CREATED FOR A SPECIAL PURPOSE
Kidology contributor Paul Fischbach shares this cup stacking object lesson intended to show children how special they are to God. "What makes a Speed Stack cup different from other cups? 3 holes in the bottom, an inside lip, the logo, upside down is right-side up..."

» What were these cups designed for?

LET'S TALK SEX EDUCATION
"Do you talk to your ministry kids about sex?" asks Network Forums member pastortracey. "Do you teach about God's plan for sex or not? If so, do you use a curriculum or just do small group discussions? How in depth do you go?" What is the stand of your church on this topic?
