I'D LIKE TO MEET YOU!
The Internet has made it possible to connect in ways we never could before. I have friends I've made online through Kidology, Facebook, and Twitter that I've never met, but have a fun time relating to. Sometimes when we finally do meet, it's hard to believe it's the first time we are connecting in person, because we've gotten to know each other so well online.
However, no 'virtual friendship' can ever replace the joy of meeting someone face to face. While the Internet offers fantastic opportunities to learn, connect and shop, let me challenge you to make an "in person" conference a priority this next year. I love when Kidology folks change from an e-mail address, twitter handle, profile pic or Forum ID into a real person.
Consider joining me at the Children's Pastors Conference or the Children's Ministry Expo next year. I'll be at both locations for both of these great networking opportunities. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself! I'm already looking forward to it!
