I just returned from a week of family vacation in Yosemite after speaking at Hartland Christian Camp.  While I go to Yosemite every year for Yosemite Summit, this was my first chance to introduce my son to  "Daddy's Favorite Place on Earth."

Running Towards DiscoveryI basically spent the week trying to catch up to him as we journeyed together. What a joy to watch him chase lizards, squirrels, water, and everything else that moved. We even got to see two bears and a family of deer with not one, not two, but three baby fawns up close and personal! It was a week of amazing discovery. I've never outgrown my boyhood love for discovering and exploring God's Creation. Experiencing it afresh through my son was something I can hardly describe.

However, you don't have to go to a National Park to be in awe of the world God made. You'll find it through the bugs in your yard, the clouds overhead, and the birds that land on your fence. God's handiwork is on display all around you. Creation was necessary to have Earth - but the beauty was optional.

Don't miss it. Run towards it, marvel it, and soak it in. Put God's art on the refrigerator in your heart. He delights when we take pictures and say, "Wow, God - that's amazing!" His love for this world is on display everywhere... including through the people He made.

Movie Review: Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh"Written to appeal to preschool age children, Winnie the Pooh recovers the whimsy found in Disney films of old," notes Kidology CP Team Member Glen Woods in his review of the Disney animated film.

"A tale of friendship, priorities, and the joy of living each day to the fullest, Pooh is definitely worth a look for families who miss the age of innocence in the theater."

As with all Kidology movie reviews, we provide children's ministry-oriented teaching tools such as an overview, areas of concern, teachable themes with scripture, and discussion questions.

All you need are a couple of rolls of toilet paper.  Why? The goal is for everyone to make the best looking piece of art out of just 10 sheets.  Sound crazy?
