No Lone Rangers!I always got a kick out of the fact that the Lone Ranger's partner was named Tonto, which, being gracious, means "fool" in Spanish. In today's more sensitive culture, a Native American partner would probably have a more dignified name like Fuerte! or Confiable!
Nevertheless, in ministry we can often feel like a Lone Ranger ourselves -- even when we are surrounded by staff over us, colleagues around us, and volunteers under us. Who can you really talk to about your struggles, strategies, failures, and ideas? Who has the courage to point out your blind spots, the foresight to point beyond next Sunday, and the guidance to help you see the Bigger Picture of what you are trying to accomplish? You can feel like a firefighter when you want to be a master planner!
What you need is a Kidology Coach. No other children's ministry mentoring program offers the personal one-to-one coaching you will find with Kidology Coaching... personally customized to your ministry, your needs, and where you are in your life and ministry. It's a not a party line conversation or a downloaded impersonal PDF document. It is just you and a coach, talking about your struggles and finding solutions.
We're excited when senior pastors write to let us know that our Kidology Coaching students and their ministries are being transformed in only months via this program.
Don't be a "Tonto" - or a Lone Ranger... this fall, sign up for Kidology Coaching and have someone help take you and your ministry to the next level. Because Jesus Loves Children, Karl D. Bastian - a.k.a. "The Kidologist"

Seating: Benches, Chairs, or Something Else?
| From the Kidology Forums: "I'm wondering what you currently use for seating in your children's ministry, particularly elementary age. I'm going to be purchasing new seating very soon, and I'd like to get some ideas. Chairs? What kind do you use and where did you get them from? Benches? Why did you chose benches over chairs, and did you purchase something or build them in house? Other? If you use something else or simply have kids sit on the floor, why did you choose this?" » "Sit in" on this conversation
