I KID U NOT... DON'T MISS THIS ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!
Hello, Karl Bastian here with an encouragement to seriously consider coming to Kid U this October in Chicagoland. This is not an annual event - if you miss it - it's gone! For our 10th anniversary celebration we have pulled out all the stops and created a conference unlike any other. Because of the expense and manpower involved, this isn't something we are going to repeat anytime soon - so 2008 is THE YEAR to head to Chicago for the Kid U unlike any other.
3-hour sessions with nationally known children's ministry experts in a small intimate setting. A God Rocks! concert and Kidz Blitz! Live and so much more. Plus a Saturday packed with dozens of workshops for volunteers as well as leaders. Kid U is the place to be this fall, and we hope to see you there!

 You've heard us talk about Kid U Chicago? But how exactly does it break down on a daily basis? Here's a quick summary:
Wednesday, October 1 - Celebration Banquet
Join us as we journey through 10 years of Kidology at our Celebration Banquet. Over a tasty dinner, you'll hear Kidology founder Karl Bastian discuss the exciting history of your favorite children's ministry "equipping and encouraging" resource. We'll also explore the current activities of Kidology, as well as boldly anticipate God's plans for the future. It will be capped off by a message full of encouragement and challenge.

Thursday-Friday, October 2-3 - Leadership Labs
More than just lectures, these 2 days of personalized coaching presented by top-notch trainers allow you to apply leadership principles as you interact with the material being discussed. Each day features an interactive 3-hour lab broken into two 90-minute sessions, complimented by additional time to network in between.

Saturday, October 4 - Volunteer-Focused Workshops
Our 10-year tradition of offering a volunteer-focused collection of practical training continues, featuring ideas in areas you can actually use the next day! Packed into the day are multiple sessions of 50-minute workshops, along with an engaging opening and closing program, complete with quality teaching, lively worship, and a resourceful exhibit hall. Oh, and lunch is included! Plus, if you attended the Leadership Labs on Thursday and Friday, a special leadership-focused track continues your training.
