Children's ministry is very "stuff" intensive. Our lives can be overly cluttered with stuff to do, including Must Do's, Should Do's, Would Do's and Could Do's, as if we had time for all these things. This translates into our ministries as well, where we tend to collect a ton of stuff, including those "I might need these someday" props. Eventually, we become overwhelmed and find ourselves needing to prune the inventory.

TIME RUNNING OUT: PATRIOTIC IDEA CONTEST

MOVIE REVIEWS: SURF'S UP and PIRATES 3
More summer movies have hit the theaters. CP Team member Andrew VanderLinden argues that Surf's Up is not quite what you expect... it's better. Karl Bastian's take on Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is that it walked the plank, resulting in a film that offers no redeeming elements that can be applied to a children's ministry environment.
