KEEP
JESUS OFF THE FRIDGE During
my time as a children's pastor, I encountered many funny situations.
For example, one day a mom told me she had to "take Jesus
away from her kids." I had given a Jesus
Action Figure to a family with three kids and when they
started fighting over Jesus, he ended up on top of the fridge
until they could get along. The irony of kids fighting over
Jesus may bring a smile to our face, but adults can be just
as guilty of fighting over silly things. In the process, Jesus
winds up on the fridge instead of being displayed to the world.
This Easter season, let's focus on the Risen Jesus and something
we all agree on... our world's need to see Him in the way
we love each other. Make Jesus the figure that brings godly
action into your life and ministry!

SMALL
CHURCH, FEW KIDS
Network Forums member RobO shares: "We are a small
struggling church. We have 2 two year olds, 1 four year
old, 1 six year old, and 2 kids between third and fifth grade.
Obviously, we don't have a ton of potential volunteers either.
How would you work with these kids? Sunday school and children's
church? Just children's church? All the kids together?"
