Has anyone done Zooplosion?  We are in Starlight Station right now and I am trying to decide where to go in September.  It looks a little "young" to me.  We have two children's churches.....Grades K-2 and 3-5.   Would the older kids think it is beneath them?  We love Elevate!

Mike, if you are out there, any chance you will do a Christmas unit this year?

Okay I know I am like the Elevate needy guy lately but I have a new deadline crisis.

I need to see if someone could send me the artwork for "On the Trail" and for the Elevate JR Spy....

I have purchased both of them and was hoping they would arrive before I left for vacation so I could get them into to our churches Connection book that is getting ready to go to print for the fall.

Mike or any other Fellowship Church Staff if this is not okay I understand....Just say the word...

I wish I could say Yes! But unfortunately, no. If Jr. continues to do as well as it has over the coming year I hope to be able to do a Holiday series next year...

I've scanned the last several pages here to find the answer to this question, so forgive me if I have overlooked it. Any word yet on when a preview of peak/year 3 will be available? I know I'm probably planning too much in the long term, especially since we still have one set to do in year one ourselves! Still, I'd like to see what's coming up after Kingdom Tales if possible.

What is the most cost effective way of printing out the map?

Whenever I've priced it, Kinko's, it was $400+...way too expensive for me.

I'd like to do a 2x 3 or 3 x 4.

Do you have any architects or engineers in your congregation that might have a plotter?  We do and maybe once or twice a year we will ask him to run something off for us.  We always offer to pay the expenses....he never lets us....but again, we do not overstep or abuse.  You might ask around to see if this might be a possiblity.

Joni,

Shop around sign company's for coraplast quotes...you should be able to get it done for $150-$175 and that would be for a 4X8 sheet or maybe larger...The coraplast actually looks and works better than a banner

I start shipwrecked this week. I am trying to come up with the set. It has to be movable. Does anyone have ideas on how to make a boat? Or where I can get one that is small and broken. Is there a such thing as a boat junk yard?

We did Shipwrecked last summer. Our boat was made of cardboard from old appliance boxes and balsa wood. We tore up an old bed sheet to be the sail.

If you want a real boat, maybe someone in your congregation has one you can borrow? For a sermon series, our pastor got an old boat once that someone had rusting in their backyard.

Hope this helps!

How important is it that you follow the series in order?  I am thinking of trying out Elevate, but have recently covered the early series topics.

Hi Jackie! There is no set order that has to be followed. Each one of the series are independent of each other. There is a Year One Map and a Year Two Map that have 7 series listed on them (for those who want to use it as a visual "where we are going this year"). But you can jump around between Year one and Year two all you want!

Hope this helps!

This series threw me for a loop with all the changes, but once i established my own routine it worked out.

We don't use all the videos, so sometimes we just let the clue come flying out of nowwhere (paper airplaine, paper wad). The first paper airplane clue i threw landed in one of the tubes on the stage. too perfect to have been planned. i had no idea because i was hiding backstage!

We also have some spy gear in our storage closet, so we got that out and send secret messages to the front. We are having a lot of fun and the kids really like the clues. =) and we LOVE hiding and sneaking.

This is a great series!

I use alwayssign.com for my printing. A 2x4 is only $28.95 and a 3x4 is $43.95 pretty cool huh?

Just got my year 2 map and logo for berry blast back from Alwayssign--they were very fast and the signs look wonderful...thanks for the heads up, I'm tickled pink that this was so reasonable and their service so fast!

We've been carving/painting out of styro, but it's so time consuming and there is so much shading that it was not such a good match for the logo, printing worked out great!

THanks again

I'm doing Berry Blast and then Winter Extreme...then on to year two.

Just met with my kid's worship team, which actually ended up being mostly teens (small group leaders, tech crew, and drama leaders), a college student (emcee)...I have a lot of youth helping out.  Thank the Lord for the opportunity to work with them and help train and develop them as they minister to the kids.

I am so excited to start each unit...my kids get excited too.  I really like the way that MIke puts these together, the new theme and excitement of the kids really gives us a boost every few months.

I'm a happy camper!

We are officially halfway through Berry Blast, and will start Super Sports Spectacular in October, just in time for the peak of football season. Side note: Elevate has been such a huge blessing to our new children's worship service. We started it in January, and it has grown to the point where we had to change rooms! A big step for our traditional church, but the kids can't get enough of it.

We're starting Elevate for the first time this Sunday (On The Trail) and, I guess this is more of a technical question, but can I use Media Shout for the opening activities like Zoom Out, etc that are in pdf files?  (I'd like to have everything operated from Media Shout, if possible.)

How would I do this?  Thanks!
