Kidology Garage Sales Terms and Conditions
Upon purchasing or selling items with the Kidology Garage Sale, both
Buyers and Sellers agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.
(We don't like fine print, but sometimes it's needed to make sure experiences
are positive for all parties involved!)
Those who purchase items in the Kidology Garage Sale (Buyers) agree to
the following:
- Maintain up-to-date contact information, including name, address,
and e-mail address.
- Provide payment using a valid credit-card.
- Follow-up via Kidology Customer Support regarding any issues with
Kidology Garage Sale purchases.
If you are selling items via the Kidology Garage Sale (Sellers), you
agree to the following:
- Allow Kidology, Inc. to sell your products via the Kidology Garage
Sale, per terms outlined here and elsewhere in the Garage Sale.
- Accept orders from the Kidology Garage Sale via e-mail, at an agreed
upon e-mail address.
- Manage products and orders via the Kidology Garage Sale interface,
including confirmation of shipment.
- Fulfill orders within 3-5 business days of receipt.
- Follow-up via Kidology Customer Support regarding any issues with
Kidology Garage Sale orders.
Kidology, Inc. agrees to provide the following services to users of the
Kidology Garage Sale:
- Represent Seller's product(s) in the Kidology Garage Sale with a
summary listing including name, description, image, and price. No additional
advertising or promoting is promised, though Kidology often promotes
Kidology Garage Sale products through Kidology.org, e-mail newsletters,
and other advertising venues.
- Provide a secured server environment for Buyers to protect private
information, including name, e-mail address, and credit card information.
- Accept orders and payments via credit card on behalf of Seller. Once
payment is received, Kidology alerts the Seller immediately for fulfillment.
- Pay Seller agreed upon amount per terms outlined here and elsewhere
in the Garage Sale. Payment will be made no later than the final day
of the month following the month an item is marked "shipped" by Seller.
For example, if an item is sold on January 15, marked "shipped" by Seller
on January 18, payment will be sent to Seller no later than the last
day of February.
- Provide Kidology Customer Support to resolve issues regarding Kidology
Garage Sale transactions.
Returns
Due to the pre-owned nature of items found in the Kidology Garage Sale,
there are no returns or refunds.
Defective Merchandise Replacement
If for some reason a product shipped to a Buyer is reported to be broken
or defective, Kidology Customer Support will coordinate replacement details
with Seller. Vendor will assume costs associated with replacing original
product, including shipping.
Discounts & Specials
Kidology, Inc. reserves the right to offer product discounts or specials
in the Kidology Garage Sale. This does not effect payment provided to
Seller.
Customer Support
Buyer inquiries regarding Seller products are sent to Customer Support.
If Customer Support is unable to provide an answer to the inquiry about
a product due to the need of Seller-specific knowledge, the message will
be forwarded to Seller to obtain a response. Seller will reply to Customer
Support and Kidology will follow-up with Buyer directly.
Additionally, Customer Support issues due to negligence or delay from
Seller may result in a small fee from Kidology to be deducted from final
payment. This helps cover personnel costs incurred while communicating
with the customer during the delay and to help compensate the loss of
future business that may result. Fees will be deducted from payment to
Seller.
Customer Feedback
It is our joy to forward positive product feedback to Sellers. We
hope you are encouraged by these messages. At the same time, negative
feedback, while less enjoyable, is still helpful and will be shared with
Seller as well. Kidology reserves the right to use customer feedback for
promotional purposes.
Length of Agreement
Unless otherwise specified, Kidology reserves the right to terminate this
agreement at any time, pending fulfillment of outstanding orders.
Updates to Terms & Conditions
Kidology Inc. may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continuance
to either purchase items or accept orders for items via Kidology denotes
acceptance of revised Terms & Conditions.
