Kidology is offering to SEND YOUR CHILDREN'S PASTOR TO CPC in 2005 - and even help with airfare! (see complete details below)

As it says on the INCM website: The Children's Pastors' Conference is the only conference exclusive to Children's Ministry! If you minister to children, this conference is for you. You will spend four life changing days being taught by the experts in the field of children's ministry in over 150 how-to workshops. Hear dynamic speakers and performers in the general sessions. Most of all, be equipped, motivated, challenged and recharged in your passion for ministering to children!

Karl Bastian, the Kidologist, attended his first CPC in 1995 and has been going ever since! He now attends nearly every one, no longer just an attender, but now as a workshop speaker and Kidology exhibitor.  But each year he still picks one to go to as an attender, without the business of exhibiting. It is doubtful CPC has a bigger fan that the Kidologist!

Karl knows, first hand, as children's pastor, how life changing CPC was his first year attending! To be sitting in an ocean of others who love Jesus and love kids, and to be laughing, crying, singing kid's songs, and being challenged by gifted speakers - will quickly become the highlight of your year - or your life, should you even go only once!

To be quite honest, Karl says, "I put it off for several years, because my church wouldn't pay for it. Finally a friend told me (quite firmly) that I needed to go, even if I had to go at my own expense. I did, and only regretted I had not gone sooner! I discovered that it really isn't expensive once you experience all that you get! It is worth going even if you church can't afford to send you." But, we know, that for some people, attending a CPC is still very difficult. That is why Kidology, in partnership with CPC and through the Kidology Foundation , desires to send a children's pastor to CPC who deserves it, and who otherwise could not go. The winner of this contest will reserve a complete registration to the 2005 CPC and a travel allowance. The only expense not covered is hotel.

For complete details see the CPC Contest rules below, but in short - send a ONE PAGE document (print or electronic) telling why your Children's Pastor deserves to go to CPC! Pictures and praises for your CP are very helpful. Many will be posted online in the "Kidology CP Hall of Fame" which will be posted after the New Year. Don't assume the odds of winning of bad , most people don't take the time to enter such things, so if you do, your chances are very good! 

	OFFICIAL RULES!

1.  CONTEST SUBMISSIONS: Please submit a ONE PAGE document describing your children's pastor or director, and why they deserve to go to a CPC.  They do not need to be a paid director.  Yes, if you are the children's pastor or director, you may not nominate yourself - but you may get someone to, that's OK!  If submitting in paper format, mail to the address below.  Preferred format is electronic in Microsoft Word format .  (PDF file or HTML file also acceptable.)  If that is not possible, you may attempt to send in another format and we will see if we can open it.  But best to mail one as well.

2.  SUBMISSIONS: Nominations will be accepted starting Fall 2004.

3.  PRIZE DETAILS: One full registration to CPC is provided for the CPC in 2005.  Kidology will also reimburse airfare up to $300 from a paid receipt.  If it is over, the full $300 will be given.  Savings off the airfare are not redeemable in cash or any other means.  It is intended to help with the cost of travel.  Meals are included in the conference registration.  Lodging will be the only expense for the conference, other than incidentals and shopping at the conference. (Recommended to bring at least $100 in spending money.)

4.  CAN I STILL REGISTER FOR A CPC?   Can you register for CPC before the winner is announced?  Yes!  The purpose of this contest is not only to send one person for free, but to encourage others to attend as well.  We do not wish the contest to hinder CPC registrations as people hold out to see if they win.  If you can go -- REGISTER!  It will not impact your chances of winning at all. Kidology will choose the winner without any knowledge of whether those who have been nominated or applied have already registered for a CPC conference. If the winner has already paid for the conference, a refund for their registration will be provided in full.  In other words: You should still register to go to CPC in case you don't win!  You may register online at:  www.incm.org

5.  CHANGES: If the winner is unable to attend for some reason, an alternative will be chosen from the nominations already received.
