Kidology Contests
Let us equip and encourage you!
A Ministry of the Kidology
Foundation
Kidology "Contests" are simply ways that we provide an
opportunity for visitors and members of the KidologyWeb to become
grant recipients through participating and contributing to the site.
We believe God gives to givers. We have limited funds and
resources that we delight in giving. But we enjoy giving to those
who demonstrate a generous spirit themselves by giving of their
time, energy, creative and ideas to equip and encourage others.
We all have something offer to others who serve the Lord through
ministering to children. It is those who give of themselves that
we enjoy giving to. Here are some samples of individuals and organization
that we have given to from The Kidology Foundation:

GRANTS
Our monthly $100 DONATION
CONTEST continues....

How would
you like to receive $100 for your ministry and be a blessing to
others at the same time?
(This summer, learn about our special $500 contest!)
Kidology, Inc. is committed to equipping and encouraging those
who minister to children. One way we do this is by providing creative
help on the Internet. Another way is by providing financial assistance
to worthy ministries who are also committed to reaching and teaching
children for Jesus. This contest was designed to help us do both!
How the Contest Works
Each month we review the submissions to the site (object lessons,
stories, puppet scripts, games, creative ideas, etc.). Then we select
finalists who have significantly contributed to the site. This selection
is based on a combination of quality and quantity of submissions.
Submitting a lot of material is helpful, but only if it is of high
quality. In some cases, submitting ONE good item may be enough.
Each finalist will be notified by e-mail. There is no application necessary-submitted
material is automatically entered. Finalists will be asked to nominate
a children's ministry for the award. While this normally will be
your ministry, you are welcome to submit any ministry that fits
the criteria detailed below. Perhaps your ministry needs some new
puppets? Perhaps you want to help a missionary? Perhaps there is
a child who needs some money to go to camp? Be creative--but be
honest, we want to help.
After the nominations are received, we will select a winner and
award $100 to the ministry nominated. The other finalists will receive
a free additional year of membership to Kidology.org. In
summary, this is your change to help us find worthy ministries to
support and help build Kidology at the same time!
Special Notice: During the months of May through July
2005, the Kidology Foundation will be awarding a $500 Summer Grant
Contest winner! The same rules apply as our normal $100 Contest,
except that there will only be one single winner of the $500. Get
your submissions in today!

SUPPORT
As the Lord enables and
leads us, we enjoy supporting individuals and organizations that
are actively involved in reaching and teaching children, or
equipping
and encouraging those who do.
NOTE: We
do not accept requests for grants. The Kidology
Foundation is not a highly funded foundation. Our foundation
is made up of sacrificial gifts from a portion of our membership and
product sales and from donations. We do not have the resources
to respond to requests for grants, or to do the proper investigation
that would be required before responding to such requests.
Instead, we give to organizations in one of only two
ways.
First of all, we
approach those who submit to the site about helping their
ministries. (See the CONTEST above.) That way we are giving to
givers. We reward those who contribute to our mission.
Those who take the time to submit to the site are giving something
that costs them only time and energy. We respond with resource
help.
The second way is that
we approach and/or support ministries that we see demonstrating a
key role in advancing the cause of children's ministry. We
welcome organizations putting us on their mail list so we can learn
of their ministry, but do not have the staff and resources to
respond to requests for money.
Some projects and/or
organizations we have supported, or support on a regular basis:
Creative Children's Ministries
Merry Heart Clowns mission trip to Russia
International Messengers missionary Liviu-Adrian Oprea (20 year
old Romanian missionary!)
Focus on the Family
Preston Family Ministries
and several others.
