Orange Crushed? No, I'm Thankful!
Crushed?

Living in Colorado, this was an amazingly fun year to be a Denver Broncos fan. I feel bad for those who only joined the season for the Super Bowl, where we got soundly defeated, because they missed an incredible season that was extremely entertaining!

As I listen to all the "armchair experts" discuss this Super Bowl defeat, my thoughts go immediately to the words of Theodore Roosevelt who made the point that it is easy to criticize.  However, the credit goes to the men on the field, win or lose, for they are the ones who are actually in the stadium playing the game!

When it comes to ministry, it is easy for us to be critics of what others are doing. We sit in our "armchairs" and point out all the faults, missed opportunities or mistakes of others.

My question is always, "what are you doing for the Kingdom?" Go out into the arena of ministry God has given you with the same passion, developed skills, and fearlessness that football players do. Our cause is far greater than a ring or a pay raise, it is reaching kids and impacting eternity. So what are you waiting for? Stop analyzing, and go play!

Book Review: Who Made the Moon?
Who Made the Moon? Who Made the Moon? A Father Explores How Faith and Science Agree, a review by Kidmin Pro, Nancy Keith:

"Author Sigmund Brouwer shows himself as a father who truly loves his daughters and is concerned about their spiritual development.

As someone who ministers to children, I have to applaud him for this. He says, "The primary responsibility for helping children judge truth must begin at home, before they start their journeys through a digital forest of mediocrity."

Frankly, I wish there were more parents like this. Part of Brouwer's concern for his daughter causes him to consider what he will tell them about creation, and how he will explain it in an intelligent way."
