   Making the Best of a Bad Situation My family stayed in Florida a little longer after CPC Orlando wrapped up, giving us some vacation time at Walt Disney World. While there, we were lucky enough to be at Magic Kingdom the same day as  the President of the United States. However, because of his visit, Secret Service had closed off Main Street USA. Guests instead were routed behind the buildings via a rather ugly backstage area in order to enter the rest of the park.
Not the best of circumstances, right?
Leave it to Disney to make a bad situation into something fun and unique! They placed parade floats, performers, balloons, music, and other items in this backstage area for us to enjoy as we walked through it. I even got my photo taken with the crocodile from Peter Pan! Overall, Disney took what could have been a very negative situation and transformed it into something fun.
When things go bad in ministry, instead of considering it a negative, look to make it a Sunday/Wednesday that others will remember. All you need is a little time and creativity to shape a unique experience! Because Jesus Loves Children,
