   A Gopher Named Veronica! When I started Kidology.org in 1994, the Internet was a very lonely place for Children's Ministry! In fact, when I first logged onto AOL, there was NO "World Wide Web" with its familiar blue text and underlines! I had to choose between the "Gopher" and "Veronica" networks. Huh? (That's like telling today's DVD swapping kids you once had to choose between Beta and VHS!) You'll be glad to know when AOL held its online poll, I voted to "Let the WWW onto AOL" and the rest, as they say, is history!
So you can imagine why I am so pleased to see the vast resources available today to children's ministry workers some 17 years later! When Tony Kummer at Ministry-to-Children launched his "Blog March Madness" event this month, I couldn't help smiling while seeing all these kidmin blogs. I thought I invented blogging! I was blogging before there was any blog software! Back then, I'd have to manually create HTML pages on the 'net and e-mail out a link. When Blogger rolled out, then WordPress, I jumped at the chance to automate these postings. All these new voices are welcome - just as I welcome the friendly competition this week between the blogs. While I'd love for you to jump over there and VOTE FOR MY BLOG - the real winners are all the children's workers who now have so many sources online for ideas, resources and stimulating thoughts from peers all over the country - and indeed the world! (Last year's winner was from "Down Under!") So while I DO hope you VOTE FOR MY BLOG, I'm just celebrating that there is no longer a Gopher named Veronica we have to log onto, but a host of places you can go now for help! | Jesus is Real 4-Week Easter Curriculum |
 Tadpole Tails brings you Jesus is Real, a 4-week, sitcom-style video curriculum series featuring the news team from Breaking Action Daily News. This small-town newscast is dead last in the ratings until the skeptical producer, Bentley, orders news anchor Walter Riley to report that Jesus is a fake.
With the help of a young boy and a mysterious janitor, Walter's investigative reporting leads him to a pastor, professor, physician, and printer.
