   The Gospel According to Flying Chickens?Last week I was the speaker at Camp Timber-lee in Wisconsin. I used this idea about sharing the Gospel with flying chickens.

I'm teaching through the Awesome Adventure series, adding an object lesson with a piece of hiking equipment comparing them to the tools God gives us for growth on our spiritual journey. For the lesson introduction, I created 12 games with these flying chickens I got on sale at an outlet store.

 "Grab a fun book like The Very Hungry Caterpillar or Where the Wild Things Are and create opportunities for preschoolers to learn spiritual concepts," notes curriculum author Dienna Goscha.
"Classic read-aloud books are excellent avenues to use to teach preschoolers biblical truths. Because kids love a good story that captures their attention, books are fantastic learning tools to use in a variety of settings.
An added bonus is that by using books children normally read at the library, in day care, at home, in preschool, or community education classes, preschoolers will see God as part of life instead of just residing in the walls of the church or the home."
